Mission Statement

One community . . . one heart . . . one passion.

These six words describe Community of Compassion better than any other statement that could be created. They tell who we are, why we exist and what we want more than anything else. Many families are seldom under the same roof at the same time, but that doesn’t change the fact that their bonds aren’t easily broken. That’s the way it is with Community of Compassion. We express our compassion in settings throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and throughout our global environment. But we’re still one community.

Our one heart is to share a deep and abiding love for God; His Son, Jesus; His Word, the Bible; and His people, both inside the church and out, because the Bible tells us that others will come to know Him because of our love for each other.

Our one passion is to spread His love, His compassion, and His Gospel to as many people as we can, in every way we can, for as long as we can. With that said, we would love to enlarge our community by including you and your family.

Our ministry is not a one size fits all. We endeavor to offer many solutions that are tailored to the needs of our community. We feed the hungry through programs facilitated by various local, state, and private organizations, as well as clothe the poor and find shelter for the homeless. We also provide resources and support for our military families. We help the hurting; provide resources to help make informed and well thought out decisions regarding unplanned pregnancy, and youth mentorship. Additionally, we minister to the elderly, widows and orphans, reaching and teaching others how to apply Bible truths to every area of their lives.
